“RYAN WEBB & THE METHOD” – AUGUST RESIDENCY
Starting tonight, “Ryan Webb & The Method” begin a Friday night residency throughout the month of August at Bar Orient in Fremantle. This is a fantastic opportunity for punters to get out and see the band on a regular basis, and to become familiar with the vibey new songs that comprise the current set; the majority of which should find their way onto future recorded releases, such as the impending release of forthcoming single “Sing Me To Sleep”. Each week, the band will be supported by various support acts, all of which are super-talented artists with a bright future ahead of them.

MATT CORBY (NSW) TOUR SUPPORT
Tonight, “Ryan Webb & The Method” performed at the Norfolk Basement Lounge in support of Sydney singer-songwriter Matt Corby on his national tour, to promote his new single “My False”. Matt’s tour winds up next week with him supporting Mumford & Sons at the Enmore Theatre. A large, hushed audience was in attendance to watch Corby (who shot to prominence as a runner-up in Australian Idol at only 16 years of age) and his band play through their melancholic folk set. “Ryan Webb & The Method” themselves played a stripped-back, unplugged interpretation of their usual folk-rock set. Earlier on, Queensland alt-pop songstress Tara Simmons opened up with a gorgeous solo set. Thanks to all who came down to support.

“RYAN WEBB & THE METHOD” – NEW LINE-UP LAUNCHED
Tonight, Ryan Webb introduced the brand new incarnation of his backing band, “The Method” in a performance at The Civic Hotel/The Den. His bass-playing brother Kristopher Webb is the only remaining member from the original line-up, which now includes Brendan Gaspari on lead guitar, and Salv Di Criscito on drums. Both of these two new players bring a wealth of talent and experience to the table, with both of them being accomplished singer-songwriters in their own right. The band is now capable of executing four-part harmonies in their live performance, which for the players themselves is a huge thrill, and leading most to believe this is the best incarnation of “The Method” to date. With a very heavy gigging schedule booked all the way through to the end of the year, the good times lay ahead for this band of troubadours. WAMI FESTIVAL PERFORMANCE
Tonight, “Ryan Webb” performed at the Amplifier Bar for this year’s WAMi Festival, alongside such talented acts as The Morning Night, Split Seconds, The Atlas Mountains, Ruby Boots and more. This was Ryan’s second straight invitation to perform at the festival, and certainly this year’s was the most enjoyable. Playing solo for perhaps the last time in the foreseeable future, Ryan performed a short 30 minute set of songs that will become the backbone of the songs for the imminent return of his band “The Method”. Thanks to the organizers and all involved in making this year’s WAMi Festival right up there with the best.

RYAN WEBB WINS WORLDWIDE INTERNATIONAL SONGWRITING CONTEST
We are pleased to announce that Ryan’s song “Midnight Drive”, from his debut album “Symphony Of Symmetry” has taken out the first prize in the ‘Singer/Songwriter’ category of the UK’s annual ‘International Festival 4 Stars’ songwriting competition. Up against thousands of songs submitted by thousands of songwriters from all over the globe, Ryan’s song made it through 3 rounds of specialist panellist voting, and then won the final stage which was via world-wide public vote (via the internet).
